LITTLE AMY TOURS

Hi, I’m Amy. I travel with a sketch book and set of watercolours to paint where I’ve been.

My first backpacking experience was in my early twenties when I hopped my way around Australia and New Zealand, working odd jobs along the way. It was a real-opener. Learning how to adapt to a new place, new people, new climate – and how to not fall apart when things didn’t go as planned. But I love it so much I wanted travel to stay a big part of my life. That’s when I found a job that revolved around it and was lucky enough to visit some pretty incredible places.

When I touched down in Southeast Asia for the first time, it was like stepping into a whole new world of sights, smells, and flavours. Thailand had me hooked from day one, and as soon as I got back home, all I could think about was going back.

After a few more trips to Southeast Asia for work and holidays, I knew I had to see more. So, in late 2016, I set off on an eight-month journey dedicated solely to exploring Southeast Asia. Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. I’ve been back to Southeast Asia many times since and I still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface.

Now, visited over thirty countries across the world, and each new destination brings its own set of surprises. That’s why I started Little Amy Tours – to share my adventures and hopefully pass on some helpful tips. Everything you’ll find on the site, from the stories to the snapshots, is straight from my own experiences.
