Central Post Office
A large yellow building with green shutters this French Colonial building still runs as the city’s main post office

Notre Dame Cathedral
One of the most famous buildings in the city, the cathedral was built in the 1880’s made entirely of French materials. One of a few Catholic churches in the country.

The War Remnants Museum
The Vietnam War had far reaching consequences for the USA, Vietnam and the neighboring counties. Five American presents oversaw the conflict where 58,000 American serviceman died alongside 250,000 South Vietnamese who had supported them. On the other side over 1 million North Vietnamese & Viet Con died. Caught in the cross fire or bombed in their homes, over 2 million Vietnamise civilians died as well as thousands in the neighboring countries of Cambodia & Laos. This museum presents their side of the conflict, known here as the American War.

By Bus
Buses take you all over the country, head north to Dalat, south to the Mekong Delta or west across the boarder to Cambodia.

The railway from HCMC to Hanoi operates four trains with daily departures taking 33 to 36
